Exact-model off-grid power screen

Best portable power station for mobile detailing?

Compare six current UK candidates after the load has been measured. Normal AC watts, start-up evidence and usable energy are separate gates; payload, recharge and a protected operating position decide whether the result works beyond the product page.

Thirty-second answer

Qualify the load before choosing 1 kWh or 2 kWh.

EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus and Anker SOLIX C1000 are the 12.5–12.9 kg 1 kWh candidates. Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 is the lightest 2 kWh option in this screen; EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max Plus, DJI Power 2000 and BLUETTI AC200PL trade more normal output or energy for 22–28.8 kg machines. None is a recommendation until the exact load, start and runtime all fit.

Published specification screen

Six models, three separate capacity and handling decisions.

The table preserves the manufacturer wording. Normal output, surge, X-Boost, SurgePad and Power Lifting describe different operating states and cannot be ranked as one universal watt number.

Each profile retains the exact regional model, nameplate capacity, normal output, special-mode wording, mass and recharge evidence. Amazon buttons are exact searches—not confirmation of variant, stock, price, warranty or appliance compatibility.

01

Expandable 1 kWh portable power station · UK product page

EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus

DELTA 3 Plus · UK 230 V family page

The lightest published candidate in this six-model screen and one of two 1 kWh units. Its 1,800 W inverter can clear many staged loads, but the stored-energy budget must still be modelled from measured powered minutes rather than the output headline.

02

Expandable 1 kWh portable power station · UK product and GB manual

Anker SOLIX C1000

A1761 · GB 230 V manual

The other compact 1 kWh candidate, only 0.4 kg above the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus on published weight. Keep its normal 1,800 W inverter rating separate from SurgePad marketing and from the higher bypass-mode figure in the GB manual.

03

Compact 2 kWh LFP portable power station · UK product page

Jackery Explorer 2000 v2

Explorer 2000 v2 · UK 230 V product page

The lightest 2 kWh candidate in this screen at 17.5 kg. It doubles the nameplate energy of the 1 kWh pair while retaining a comparatively compact case, but two AC outlets and a 2,200 W ceiling still require a deliberate load sequence.

04

Expandable 2 kWh portable power station · current UK product page

EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max Plus

DELTA 3 Max Plus · 2,048 Wh UK 230 V page

A recently introduced 2 kWh UK candidate with a 3,000 W normal AC rating and four sockets. Expansion can raise stored energy, but it also changes purchase cost, transport mass, restraint and recharge planning and does not validate an unmeasured motor start.

05

Expandable 2 kWh LFP portable power station · global specification

DJI Power 2000

DYM2000H · 220–240 V high-voltage variant

The 22 kg high-voltage model combines four AC outlets with unusually broad USB and SDC connectivity. DJI does not publish a separate surge-watt number in the current specification table, so a motor-start decision needs written compatibility evidence rather than an invented multiplier.

06

Expandable 2.3 kWh portable power station · UK product page

BLUETTI AC200PL

AC200PL · UK 230 V product page

The largest nameplate capacity and heaviest single unit in this screen. Its 2.3 kWh label can support a longer measured energy budget, but the 28.8 kg machine must earn its payload, lifting and restraint cost and Power Lifting must not be mistaken for ordinary motor-start approval.

Before checkout

Four gates before brand or capacity.

  1. 01

    Normal simultaneous watts.

Add only loads that run together, then stay inside the normal regional inverter rating and every socket, lead and appliance limit.

  2. 02

    Exact start-up evidence.

Identify the highest starting event and ask both manufacturers for compatibility where the evidence is missing. Do not convert a marketing uplift into approval.

  3. 03

    Measured watt-hours.

Multiply real active minutes by load, then allow for conversion loss, reserve, temperature and ageing before estimating jobs per charge.

  4. 04

    Vehicle and recharge loop.

Count the station, leads, panels, expansion batteries and restraint; prove a dry, ventilated position and how the energy is restored before the next route.

Start with the system

Choose the source, then test the candidate.

The source selector separates customer mains, a battery station, an outdoor inverter generator and a split-load plan. The runtime tool then turns each candidate's watt-hours into a disclosed route estimate.

Worldwide readers

Keep the method; replace the regional model.

This screen uses current UK or global manufacturer evidence. Outside the UK, verify model code, voltage, frequency, sockets, plug, normal output, special modes, charge input, temperature limits, warranty, service and transport guidance. A matching case or family name does not prove the same electrical product.

Common questions

Portable power station comparison FAQs

What is the best portable power station for mobile detailing?

There is no universal winner. Measure the simultaneous normal load, highest evidenced start-up requirement and active powered minutes first. Then compare normal AC output, usable energy, sockets, recharge, weight, dimensions, temperature limits, warranty and service for the exact regional model.

Is 1 kWh enough for mobile detailing?

It can be enough for a staged lower-energy service, but the label alone cannot answer the question. Enter measured watts, actual active minutes, jobs per charge and a conservative usable-energy allowance in the runtime calculator.

Can a power station run a pressure washer or vacuum?

Only when the exact appliance voltage, normal input, start-up behaviour and instructions fit the station’s normal inverter path and every simultaneous load. A surge, X-Boost, SurgePad or Power Lifting headline is not a universal compatibility certificate.

Should I compare watts or watt-hours?

Both, separately. Watts screen whether simultaneous loads can run; watt-hours estimate how long they can run. Weight, recharge and the safe operating position then decide whether the station works in the vehicle and working day.

Still comparing fuel and battery?

Keep generator safety as a separate decision.

A battery station avoids exhaust at the point of use but still has electrical, temperature and storage constraints. A fuel generator needs a credible outdoor operating position, exhaust, fuel, weather, security and noise plan before purchase.
