Four separate limits
Power is more than one watt number.
A source can have enough stored energy and still trip when a motor starts. It can also carry the peak briefly but lack the continuous rating or daily energy needed to finish the route. Check each constraint separately.
- 01Simultaneous running watts
Add only machines that operate together during the same service stage.
- 02Start-up demand
Use the highest verified running-plus-start requirement, not a guessed universal multiplier.
- 03Daily watt-hours
Multiply actual powered time by the working load before allowing for usable capacity and conversion losses.
- 04Recharge or refuel workflow
The next working day depends on restoring the energy safely and predictably.
The operating site decides
Do not buy around an unsafe assumption.
- Customer mains: permission, circuit capacity, RCD protection, plugs, leads and the wet-work environment all need checking.
- Battery system: compare continuous output, peak output, usable watt-hours, recharge input, temperature limits and transport weight.
- Generator: operate outdoors and away from vehicles, openings and air intakes; plan exhaust, fuel, weather, security and noise before purchase.
- Split load: separate stages and sources deliberately. Never combine supplies unless the exact equipment and a competent design permit it.
Use the generator sizing calculator for the complete load list, then test a candidate battery in the power-station runtime calculator.
