The equipment chain

These are system roles, not automatic purchase recommendations. Confirm specifications and fit before selecting a product.

  • Trailer selected by permitted loaded weight and payload—not floor area alone
  • Baffled water tank sized from measured litres or US gallons per job and included in the full load model
  • Pump, filtration and hose reels positioned for inspection, drainage and service access
  • Power source sized from simultaneous loads and used only in accordance with its safety instructions
  • Chemicals, fuel where applicable, clean textiles and wet recovery separated and restrained for travel

Build it in this order

  1. 1

Prove the booking volume, route density and service margin before committing to a trailer build

  2. 2

Confirm the tow vehicle, licence, hitch, brakes and local towing rules for the intended loaded combination

  3. 3

Create a filled operating-weight schedule in kilograms and pounds, including water, equipment, chemicals and every fixture

  4. 4

Mock the layout around the axle position, manufacturer tongue or nose-load limits, service access and a clear exit

  5. 5

Use competent installers where required, weigh the completed working rig and record a normal fill limit and pre-trip checklist

Specification-led shortlist

Compare the first components for this build.

These broad searches are a starting point. Buy in dependency order and reject any result that does not meet the written check.

01

Baffled trailer water tank

Compare dimensions only after modelling the fully loaded trailer and the tank position around the axle.

Check before buying: Empty and filled weight, baffles, outlet, fixing guidance, dimensions and material compatibilityCompare Baffled trailer water tank on Amazon UK
02

12V water pump

Match delivery to the tank outlet, filtration, hose run and the pressure-washer inlet requirement.

Check before buying: Flow, pressure, duty cycle, fuse, current draw, dry-run protection and service accessCompare 12V water pump on Amazon UK
03

Inverter generator

Shortlist only after calculating real simultaneous loads and planning safe outdoor operation and transport.

Check before buying: Continuous output, motor surge, runtime, sound level, exhaust clearance and service supportCompare Inverter generator on Amazon UK
04

Rated load-restraint system

Use suitable anchor hardware and competent installation to keep equipment restrained during travel.

Check before buying: Published load rating, compatible fixings, installation instructions and condition-inspection routineCompare Rated load-restraint system on Amazon UK

Limits to accept

  • A trailer adds parking, manoeuvring, security, maintenance and suitable tow-vehicle requirements
  • Water uses carrying capacity quickly: one litre is approximately one kilogram before the tank and hardware
  • Towing, braking, licensing and inspection rules differ by country and region; this planning guide is not legal or engineering certification
  • Never run a fuel-powered generator or engine inside an enclosed trailer or other enclosed or partially enclosed space
